Rewarded Review

I didn’t think it would be so gentle considering the fact that it has a 2.5% it’s a gel type that feels kind of goopy and has a yellow consistency to it. Not the smoothest application since retinols have to be applied on completely dry skin. Do not use any retinol on damp face as water causes it to have a reaction on your skin. I’ve been into it for a month and put it on every 2 days and works great. Avoid areas like upper lip, sides of the nose and neck as it can irritate further. Some people use it on the neck but I wouldn’t use a retinol on the neck unless dermatologist recommended. Some people use this as an eye gel but if you are sensitive on that area avoid it as it will sting. (Ended up rinsing my eyes a couple times) How to apply it if you have dry/ dehydrated skin/ other drying skin conditions: Wash your face. Do not use towels to pat dry. Instead apply your toner while the skin’s still damp. Wait for it to sink in and apply a hydrating serum or hyaluronic acid works good (even thought this formula does contain HA, it’s important to prepare your skin before applying retinols) then a moisturizer as your skin will need an occlusive to seal that hydration in. After it has dried up, you can apply this retinol serum as your last step. Also, following this routine you will avoid moving the serum all around your face underneath moisturizer etc. So as the last step you ensure it’s all evenly spread and don’t worry about effectiveness as you’ll still get it to work in your skin perfectly. Amazing results and no flaky skin//moisture loss. After 2 weeks I can already see a difference.
