As you can see I tested it some before reviewing. Many people here buy it as a substitute for the Paula's choice exfoliator. There some differences between those two, but so far I'm happy. According to internet, this one has 1% concentration while Paula's choice has 2%. So I think this toner is good if you are new to using AHAs/BHAs, if you want to use a toner like that during summer, or if your acne is not too bad. Otherwise, the Paula's choice exfoliator might be more effective for you.

I was using Paula’s choice BHA but wanted something gentler and CHEAPER. So I chose Instree BHA: Best decision ever! Not only is it effective: my whiteheads / blackheads have decreased; but this toner is very soothing thanks to the seaweed complex. It's fungal acne safe and it’s pH balanced level of 3.5~4.0 for gentle yet effective exfoliation. I have oily skin and I live in a hot country but thankfully this toner helped diminish my sebum secretion. Just be consistent - I noticed results after about 3 weeks. Very easy to use, nice packaging and great size. My skin has been glowing since I started using this nightly and I did not break out.

Cheaper than most BHA toners from other brands, but the quality is great. Doesn't work better or worse than big brands' products, works exactly as it should for a BHA toner.

sticky texture that feel hydrating and. it irritating at all, for slow gentle exfoliation, i get away with using it every day with no kickback from my skin

I love this toner. first, it's really generous with it's size and lasts forever. second, it absorbers really well into the skin and I feel the difference after couple of times using it. recommended!

I use this daily but I don't seem to notice any difference prior using it. It seems like a lot but you also end up using quite a bit since it's watery. No scent so it's suitable for those who want something unscented. I have sensitive skin and this doesn't irritate my skin. Overall quite a gentle toner. The only time I felt a slight sting was the first few times I used it but after that it's ok.

It is surprisingly good!. It really does its job. And with its BHA content, you'll see a gradual improvement on your pores and complexion. I do not use cotton , im just tapping it on my face and neck.

This toner is a good size and seems to benefit my skin but I cannot use it everyday as it does dry me out and can burn sometimes. Maybe not great for sensitive facial skin. Does not seem to be very moisturizing either.
