100 mg is a rather maximum expense for an already pricey supplement. However, research on the benefits of true (registered) Pycnogenol are available to read and I like the results reported. Small capsules can be opened and made into two doses if economically necessary. There are a lot of other Pycnogenol supplements around at time of writing this review but I like this one because of the guaranteed original source, and that is why I choose it and continue to buy.
I used to have very bad leg cramp when I took an international flight. My doctor asked me to take 100mg of Pycnogenol before I took off and after 8 hours take another 100 mg of Pycnogenol. I took the Pycnogenol twice and I didn’t have leg cramp anymore!!
I think it's a terrific vitamin, however it appears to give folks with sensitive stomachs heartburn. I'd go for two days, then take a day off, then go for another two and a half days, with one or two days off in between. It may be taken with food, which helps to relieve stomach pain. Apart from this one disadvantage, I admire its numerous advantages.
Recently, I had been receiving compliments about my skin/complexion for 2 days about how beautiful and glowy my skin looks and that I look like million bucks :). I started taking Pycnogenol from Life Extension on and off 1 capsule of 100 mg/day mainly to see improvement on my leg spider veins. I work in the field of varicose veins and perform sclerotherapy (and diligently wear compression socks or pantyhose) but I wanted to see if I can help myself without chemical injections. I have not seen a difference on my legs, then I learned the recommended therapeutic effect was 150 mg/day, so I was taking 2 capsules (200 mg/day). Again, on and off - so not consistently - then switched back to 100 mg/day on and off, and the results are not there yet. However, it worked for my skin taken slightly irregularly. I am going to be diligent in taking it daily for at least for 2 consecutive months to observe the vein improvement. Right now I’ve finished the bottle of this brand and switched to Solgar one. Ordered two different brands to try. After I’m done with the latter one I might jump back to this one again, the capsule is smaller = easier to swallow. Price wise, if taken 100 mg per day, the cost per capsule for 2 month-supply is lower for this brand (60 caps in the bottle) vs. the latter one (30 caps in the bottle). At the beginning of October/22 I received my second order from Life Extension and instead of 60 capsules in the bottle, there were 59. Not very impressed by that.
Small sized powder capsules in a small little pretty bottle - easy to swallow, no weird tastes or smell. Bought it for its multi-benefits for skin and for improving my workout. I take it 30-60 minutes before I do my workouts on workout days. Just started taking it for about 1+ week - no side effects so far and seems to help with my workout sets (can do just that little bit more). It is a costly supplement, so currently I am not taking it everyday but every other day.
The best replacement for aspirin also it’s a great anti aging and did an amazing job for my father‘s vision specially after his open heart surgery in January Pls like
It will be difficult for me to say if this works or not as it's part of large amount of nutrients I'm currently taking. However I like that the size is small. The package arrived fast and the ingredients look promising
I was absolutely stunned. The product raised doubts about whether this price was correct. It was too cheap for the price set and also gave me satisfaction I'm recommending this to people around me and I'm willing to buy it again
The science says that pycnogenol is one of the most potent antioxidants. I have been using this one for quite a while and I am happy with it.
Easy to swallow and to be eaten on an empty stomach. Haven’t eaten long enough to see results but my friend says it’s good
I guess it must be a good product, but I noticed more effects from the California Gold brand, which is also much cheaper than this one.
